| The Key Laboratory
of Complex Systems and Intelligence Science, officially approved to
be open to international and domestic academic institutes by the Chinese
Academy of Sciences in 1994, is hosted by the CAS Institute of Automation.
Directed by Professor Fei-Yue Wang, the Laboratory has over 200 research
scientists, staffs, project engineers, and graduate students, including
1 Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 9 Professors, 4
Winners of the ˇ°Oversea Outstanding Scientists Programˇ±, and 2 Awardees
of the National Outstanding Young Scientist Research Fund.
The Laboratory is focused on research and application of complex
systems and intelligence science. The theme is to develop and apply
theories and methods of intelligence science for modeling, analysis,
control, and optimization of complex systems in engineering, medical,
social, and environmental arenas. The goal of the Laboratory is
to become a leading research center in scientific research, technological
innovation, and graduate education.
